Educational Video Game Content (Formerly Agau)

Within the proposal of the Talentum Line division, whose objective is to design innovative educational experiences through narrative universes, the video game becomes a cornerstone content that, due to its interactive characteristics, allows direct connection with the young audience to effectively develop pedagogical objectives.

Agau, the protector of time, is the central strategy of a campaign designed to engage students from elementary, middle, and vocational high schools in both rural and urban areas. This campaign aims to educate them about electronic and electrical waste (e-waste), the circular economy, and public policy on e-waste management in Colombia. It does so creatively and dynamically, encouraging students to utilize or develop their motor and cognitive skills. These include problem-solving, critical thinking, responsiveness, and leadership competencies.

Developed from the perspective of edu-tainment, storytelling serves as the foundation to construct a close and effective narrative. It is an adventure journey in an educational video game where the player’s mission is to help AGAU, an artificial and programmable electromechanical entity in the form of a robot, return to the year 2200. This involves improving the management of technological waste in the region with the help of María, a 16-year-old teenager, and her 9-year-old brother Rafael.
